Our Story
Family has always been at the heart of Urban Cellar. When Matt Thompson bought the restaurant from his Uncle Dave Thompson, he did more than take over a business—he kept a family tradition alive. Today, Matt runs Urban Cellar alongside his wife, Nicole Thompson, carrying forward the same warmth and hospitality that have defined this place from the start.
What makes us special is simple. We're family-owned and built on years of passion for food and hospitality. As the next generation, we're proud to carry on the legacy while bringing fresh ideas and unique experiences to the table. For us, this is more than a business. It's a family tradition rooted in love for food and community.

Step into our Wine Market and our sommelier help you find the perfect bottle of wine. We believe in quality and value, which is why we never charge corkage fees on bottles purchased in the market.
